WHO WE ARE

RidgecrestKids.com is a local nonprofit operated by the IWV Optimist Club of Ridgecrest California. We were founded in 2011 to create mentoring and fundraising opportunities for the youth of the greater Indian Wells Valley. Ridgecrest is located in the high desert region of the Eastern Sierra Mountains.

We exist as a Ridgecrest nonprofit for the purpose of engaging local children in mentoring events which provide unique opportunities that some children do not receive.

We also partner with other nonprofits by helping fund their children's programs, as well as provide scholarships for local school and church youth, to take trips or pay for program needs, such as sporting equipment.

RidgecrestKids.com also partners with local law enforcement and first responders to provide positive environments for children to interact with them.
